Tea & Coffee World Cup 2018

Posted on 16 August 2018

As we approach the month of September we look forward to hosting this year’s Tea and Coffee World Cup 2018.

Held last year in Singapore, this year’s international exhibition will take place at the NEC in Birmingham, UK from 3-5 September, bringing together the entirety of the industry’s supply chain – from bean and leaf to cup.

This year’s show is bigger and better than ever. Now incorporating cocoa, the three-day industrial equipment and supplies trade show will feature working machinery on the exhibition floor, both raw and finished products for sampling and stocks of industrial supplies for detailed inspection.

Visitors can also look forward to an array of workshops held by London School of Coffee, Jane Pettigrew of the UK Tea Academy, SCA-trained Sean Elder and Cup of Excellence cuppings from the Burundi and Rwanda competition winners, among others. The workshops will allow participants to gain hands-on experience, optimising use of supplies and sampling products.

Prices are currently discounted at £20 or £25 per class pre-event, but will go up to £25/£30 at the event. There are also limited spaces of 20 per class so be sure to pre-book using our online system now.

All paid Tea & Coffee Trade Journal subscribers will also be granted access to the special members’ Gold Lounge. Take time out from the exhibition and conference to relax, prepare for meetings or catch up on emails. Drinks will be served all day with delicious food at lunch time.

Events Manager Megan Freeman comments, “Following on from our successful show in Singapore we have continued to make vast improvements to the show which I am sure will not go unnoticed. These include a new website, digital communications, introduction of cocoa to the show, additional conference sessions with high profile keynote speakers, members’ Gold Lounge, workshops for tea tasting & coffee cupping and roasting classes. The conference takes place over three days and provides the industry with the opportunity to exchange ideas, and access the newest technologies and products. There will also be extensive time for informal networking and discussions, including at the Exhibitor Reception on Monday 3 September.”

We look to seeing you there! Keep an eye on the website teaandcoffee.net as well as our Twitter feeds for updates during the show.
