An autumnal update

Posted on 10 October 2017

As mentioned in my last post, September was indeed a busy month here at Bell. We held our first ever Tea and Coffee World Cup in Singapore since acquiring the exhibition in 2016 (along with Tea & Coffee Trade Journal and the Ukers Global Tea & Coffee Directory & Buyers Guide).

As Vanessa Facenda, editor of Tea & Coffee Trade Journal, writes, “Bell Publishing implemented a variety of changes to TC World Cup including an opening ceremony highlighting Singaporean culture, a welcome reception for exhibitors the evening of the opening day, a Gold Lounge for exhibitors T&CTJ subscribers, and a lecture segment, in addition to the interactive coffee and tea workshops.” You can read her review in the November issue of T&CTJ.

Having laid the groundwork for a strong foundation, we look forward to the 2018 TCWC in Birmingham, UK (3-5 September) which will be even bigger and better – and the first time the show has taken place in the UK.

In terms of our events schedule for October, I am heading to Cologne, Germany to cover the Anuga Food Fair. Later in the month, the Dairy Industries International team are flying out to Belfast, Northern Ireland for the World Dairy Summit and the Confectionery Production team will be attending the Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition in Dubai. Tea & Coffee heads to Brazil, the world’s largest coffee producer, to celebrate International Coffee Week.

Finally, preparations are well underway for our next major event: Asia CanTech (30 October- 1 November) in Bangkok, Thailand.

Keep an eye on our various social media pages for more updates.
