Asia CanTech countdown

Asia CanTech 2016 kicks off in two weeks’ time on 7-9 November at the Hilton hotel in Kuala Lumper and it’s gearing up to be a busy week here as the events team make all of the finalisations ahead of the event.

Please make sure you download the CanTech International app before you depart for Asia CanTech. We will be providing you with in app messages during the event ensuring you are kept up to date with what’s going on when and where. In other news, the November issue of Dairy Industries International has gone to press this week and will be in your hands shortly. Expect all the latest dairy processing news, along with a review of the World Dairy Summit held last week in Rotterdam by our editor Suzanne Christiansen.

Editor of Confectionery Production, Katie Smith and advertising sales manager, Frankie Savage are travelling to Dubai in a few weeks to attend the food and beverage processing event, Gulfood Manufacturing as well as confectionery and snacks trade fair, Yummex. Editor of Food & Drink Technology, Carly Wood has been travelling all over the country these past few weeks visiting food and logistics companies and covering the WRAP conference in London. Look out for all her write ups in upcoming issues.

Earlier in the month I had the pleasure of attending the SCTA Forum & Gala Dinner in Geneva, Switzerland representing Tea & Coffee Trade Journal. It was a great event and gave me the opportunity to network with industry leaders, as well as learn about the challenges currently facing the coffee industry. My review will be in the November issue so please do give it a read.
